Please tell us a little about how Eng Kee Auto Enterprise Sdn Bhd began?

Eng Kee Auto Enterprise Sdn Bhd has been in business for more than 30 years. We started off our business by selling second hand lorry and we slowly expanded our business by selling new lorry. We are one of the authorized dealer of @HINO Malaysia and recently has upgraded to 3S (centres which offers sales, service and spare parts). Besides that, we are also an insurance agent that help clients to issue motor insurance, claim accident, hire purchase, half year inspection and etc. Our showroom is along Jalan Kapar, Klang.

What is the biggest challenges you face in your business and how did you overcome it?

We are constantly keeping ourselves up to date with the stock, i.e. lorry, market price which helps us to maintain a control over our stock price. This provides us with an edge when pricing our stock.

What type of trucks do you sell in your company?

We focus mainly in the light duty and medium duty trucks segment. We deal with all types of condition trucks, i.e. New, Used, and also rebuilt. We currently have more than 80 trucks for sale and of various body types, for example, #WoodenCargo, #BoxTruck, #Tipper, #FoodTruck & #van in our company.

 What brands of truck do you sell in your company?

We carry mostly Japanese truck brands. We are an authorised dealer of New #Hino units, and also other used units of #Isuzu, #MitsubishiFuso, #UDTrucks, #Daihatsu, #Hicom, #Inokom, #Nissan, #Toyota.

What other services do you offer beside selling trucks?

We are an insurance agent as well, therefore we offer a full range of insurance services, e.g. issue coverage, accident claims, etc. We have a 3S centre which allow us to offer maintenance & repair services and spare parts for our customers. We can also offer assistance in dealing with the authorities, e.g. #JPJ, #Puspakom, #APAD services for inspection and permit application.
